R122-Series Hose of PTFE

These PTFE hoses are designed for use with petroleum, synthetic, and water base hydraulic fluids. Applications include flexible brake lines (including ABS, ESP) and Hydraulics.

INNERCORE PTFE is inert to automotive fluids and has been proven to be a most effective barrier to the effusion of hydrocarbons. The innercore also has a precisely controlled amount of carbon black added to the PTFE. This provides a continuous conductive path when assembled with metal end fittings, preventing the occurrence of electro-static discharge (ESD).
REINFORCEMENT The braid material is type 300 Series Stainless Steel for superior strength and corrosion resistance.

SLEEVING
Coextruded jackets are available for added abrasion resistance and product labeling.
TEMPERATURE RANGE
-40o C to +204o C (-40o F to +400o F) for continuous service. 54 C to +230 C (-65 F to +445 F) for intermittent service.

R149 Series Hose ofPTFE

Hose Construction

These PTFE hoses are designed for use with nylon - coated rigid tube perGM6405M. The inside diameter islarger than theR122 series to accomodate thenylon coated tube.
