R122-Series Hose of PTFE | |
|
|
These PTFE hoses are designed for use with petroleum, synthetic, and water base
hydraulic fluids. Applications include flexible brake lines (including ABS, ESP)
and Hydraulics. | |
INNERCORE PTFE is inert to automotive fluids and has been proven to be a most effective
barrier to the effusion of hydrocarbons. The innercore also has a precisely controlled
amount of carbon black added to the PTFE. This provides a continuous conductive
path when assembled with metal end fittings, preventing the occurrence of electro-static
discharge (ESD).
REINFORCEMENT The braid material is type 300 Series Stainless Steel for superior strength
and corrosion resistance. |
SLEEVING
Coextruded jackets are available for added abrasion resistance and product labeling.
TEMPERATURE RANGE
-40o C to +204o C (-40o F to +400o F) for continuous service. 54 C to +230
C (-65 F to +445 F) for intermittent service.
STANDARDS

Hose Construction
These PTFE hoses are designed for use with nylon - coated rigid tube perGM6405M.
The inside diameter islarger than theR122 series to accomodate thenylon coated
tube. | |
